This year's January SFF meeting brings together both astrological and intuitive perspectives to assist us in our understanding of the year to come. The movement of the planets as well as the energies of Spirit will present unique challenges and opportunities in the new year.

The movement of Uranus from Aquarius into Pisces heralds significant changes on the horizon which will climax in 2012 when Uranus completes its swing and Neptune enters Pisces. Drew Becker will share insights into what we can expect from these and other astrological events that will shape the next 12 months and beyond.

Diana Henderson will relate many aspects of the intuitive outlook for the year. Using several tools of the intuitive including Runes, Tarot and Numerology in addition to messages from the angels, spirit guides and other Light Beings who work with her, Diana will examine the energy and opportunities available each month of 2003 and relate those insights at the meeting.

Drew Becker practices empowerment astrology with the intent of helping others maximize their gifts and talents. He is president of the Network of Triangle Astrologers chapter of NCGR. Drew has studied and applied astrology for more than two decades and teaches courses to help others realize potentials through astrology. Drew is also a Reiki Master and is certified in DNA Activation.

Reiki Master/Teacher Diana Henderson works in the Triangle area as both an intuitive and a healing arts practitioner. She has been doing psychic readings for several years and incorporates spirit mediumship and trance channeling into her work. Diana is totally guided by Spirit while performing readings or doing healing work and includes whatever comes from Source. Recently, she has been led to perform initiations into the Order of Archangel Michael.

Healing Meditation (See Below) Time: 6:30 - 7:00 PM Cost: Free An open guided meditation will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Bradow Room (on side of church that faces Dixie Trail) at Community United Church of Christ. The lectures begins at 7:15 PM following the meditation. Light refreshments will be served at the mid-point break in the lecture. We look forward to seeing you at our first meeting of the new year, Thursday, January 2, 2003.

 

Early Meditation

SFF board member Alice Hough will lead a meditation of sound and visualization to welcome the new year. A river of sound cascading from crystal bowl and voice will let your spirit soar and soul sing. Please join us for this time of renewal and healing.

Alice is an energetic healing practitioner who has incorporated her training in various fields of energy work into a practice she calls HeartLight Healing. Working with Spirit, Alice uses HeartLight Healing to help people create balance and health in their bodies and lives.
The Healing Meditation begins at 6:30 in the Vaughn Wing. Please be on time.

At the main meeting, Diana Henderson will lead a meditation to assist in integrating Divine energies and opening to our own intuitive wisdom as we face the new year.
