SFF Raleigh 30th Anniversary Celebration

Though it is sometimes seems hard to believe, Spiritual Frontiers Fellowship International has beeen serving the Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill area and beyond for thirty years.

To celebrate this milestone, we will be serving heavy hor d'ovures from 6:30 - 7:30 before the lecture by Mary Mooney. We will also be giving away several door prizes and we will be recognizing many of the folks who have helped us through the years. This will be a lot of fun as we eat, laugh, remember and help bring in the holiday season in great spirits.

Please plan on coming early to help us celebrate this special occasion.

Gift certificates for a variety of services proved to be among the most
popular items for auction. We received donations for Astrological Reports, Aura Photographs, a credit consultation, a Medical Consultation, Publishing Seminar admission and numerous sessions including Breathcare, Foot massage, Hand Analysis, Intuitive Readings, Life Coaching, Massages, Numerology, Past Life Regression, Reconnective® Healing, Reiki/Energetic Healing, Spiritual Healing and Thought Field Therapy.

Members of the community were also very generous in donating more tangible items. There were far too many donations to name, but among them were the following: art, books, candles and candleholders, a Chakra Tie, Christmas decorations, Country Bunny Bath & Body product baskets, Dancing Moon Bookstore gift certificates, diffuser, dolphin hand exercise balls, fairy statue, household items, many jewelry selections including pins, earrings and necklaces, massage table, pottery, stained glass, a throw blanket,
tranquillity fountain, vanity set, videotapes and CDs, and wind chimes. Spiritual Frontiers Fellowship is most grateful to all those who donated their services and these fabulous items.

SFF also extends many thanks to the volunteers whose efforts made this event run so smoothly. First let us acknowledge our board members, who played a key role in this effort: Cindy Cicero, Abbie and David Emory, Diana Henderson, Maryphyllis Horn, Alice Hough, Kim Kasdorf, April Rooker and Silent Auction Committee Chairperson Lucy Spratley. Other volunteers who helped with this event include Tom Bapple, Cindy Bowling, Nancy Dimitrios, Karen Ganyard, Mona Garrett, Bill Hough, Amy Simpson, Janice Simpson, Sylvia
Surcy and Elizabeth Wilson.

There were many ways in which people helped as volunteers: organizing and planning the event, soliciting donations, taking in donations, preparing bid sheets, receipts and gift certificates, transporting donations to the auction, setting up at the auction/raffle, selling raffle tickets, determining auction and raffle winners, accepting payment from top bidders,
making sure top bidders received their items, announcing winners, handing out raffle items and "breaking down" and cleaning up after the auction. Whatever role you played in this effort, thank you!

We offer profound thanks as well to those who attended the Silent Auction and bid on items. Many went home with fantastic bargains with the added bonus of supporting SFF. Without your attendance and willingness to participate in the auction, none of the other efforts would have proven fruitful.

Spiritual Frontiers Fellowship Raleigh Chapter is a non-profit organization that means a lot to the metaphysical/healing community in the Triangle area and beyond. SFF's mission is to enhance the spiritual, mystical and metaphysical awareness and consciousness of our community by sponsoring programs that facilitate personal growth and development and a holistic approach to health and living.
