Every day millions of us turn to astrology to find answers to these kinds of questions. While astrology cannot predict the future, it can forecast energy trends and suggest how individuals might best take advantage of those trends and patterns.

Because astrology offers a variety of ways for us to explore future possibilities, SFF will once again bring in a skilled astrologer to help forecast the year ahead.

For this year’s crowd-pleasing event, professional spiritual adviser and astrologer Philip Young, PhD has prepared a talk called, “Fasten Your Seat Belts!”

Philip will give us a look ahead at the year 2018 and a general presentation about astrology and its many uses. He will augment his lecture by looking at the charts of three SFF attendees. (For a chance to be one of these lucky persons, keep reading.)

The first half of the presentation will look at what Philip describes as “these turbulent times” and discuss strategies for navigating them. The second half of the presentation will provide a practical look at astrology through the lens of personal charts and how the current energies affect those charts.

About Philip Young

Philip is a professional spiritual adviser and priest of the Order of Melchizedek who uses the gift of guided intuition and the tools of astrology, tarot/oracle cards, the I-Ching, pendulum, and applied kinesiology to help people along their life journey. Most of his work is done using astrology and tarot/oracle cards. When working with astrology, he sees the birth chart as part of a long soul evolution in continual development. For this reason he often talks about past life karma and current life goals. He maintains that your existence is part of an ongoing spiritually evolving process.

Using tarot and oracle cards, he works as a narrative guide. The tarot cards, placed individually and in spreads of two or more, provide a narrative that can be held up to the story of one’s life. By comparing the card reading to the client’s personal story, individuals can make critical judgments to help them make better, more effective decisions.
