What Is Your Animal Trying to Tell You?<\/em><\/h4>\n

The animals in our lives can tell us a great deal about themselves and what they\u00a0need from us, if only we know how to hear them.<\/p>\n

Nationally known animal communicator Karen Wrigley will bring through\u00a0messages to audience members from their pets\u2014living or deceased. As an animal\u00a0makes itself known to Karen, it will direct her to its \u201cperson\u201d in the audience so that\u00a0she can voice the message. Although intended for specific individuals, she says, the\u00a0messages frequently are relevant and helpful to the entire audience.<\/p>\n

She\u2019ll also entertain and enlighten us with her stories of communication with the\u00a0animals in her life and the extraordinary wisdom they convey. She\u2019ll tell us the full\u00a0story of her remarkable path to becoming an animal communicator; describe in depth\u00a0how animal communication works; and explain what she experiences during her\u00a0communications.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnimals can be witty, serious, nonchalant, funny, bold, and sometimes what we\u00a0humans would call rude,\u201d she says. But, \u201cWhen we can open our hearts to animals\u00a0and acknowledge what they are thinking, experiencing, feeling, and how they view\u00a0life, our relationships with all animals will change forever.\u201d<\/p>\n

Growing up on a small farm in Indiana, Karen knew from childhood that she\u00a0could understand the thoughts and feelings of animals and could speak with\u00a0them. Later she worked with animals as a veterinary lab technician and\u00a0veterinary assistant, but her career as an animal communicator got launched\u00a0by surprise. A woman she met at a trade show asked her to communicate\u00a0with her dog, and then subsequently shared the story\u2014without Karen\u2019s\u00a0knowledge\u2014with a friend who happened to be a writer for USA Today.\u00a0Karen found herself featured in a 1998 article, \u201cPsychics Help Pet Owners\u00a0to Get a New Leash on Life,\u201d and suddenly her phone began ringing with\u00a0requests for communications, radio talk shows, TV appearances, and\u00a0speaking engagements. Communicating with animals and sharing the\u00a0wisdom they have with the human world has become her passion and joy.<\/p>\n

In addition to USA Today, The Washington Post, the Washingtonian\u00a0magazine, and numerous local papers have featured her and her work; she\u00a0has spoken for National Geographic, The Humane Society of the United\u00a0States, and other organizations; she has appeared on radio talk shows,\u00a0including Pets Unleashed with Dr. Marty Becker; and she appears on a\u00a0monthly internet talk show. She\u2019s the author of the book Beyond Woofs and\u00a0Whinnies, in which she relates stories about animals in her life, their\u00a0extraordinary wisdom, and how she communicates with them.
