\nGuardian angels are assigned to protect and guide a particular person or group. Belief in guardian angels can be traced throughout all antiquity; belief in both the East and the West is that guardian angels protect the person they are assigned to, and present prayers on that person\u2019s behalf. Belief in guardian angels has been held by Pagans, Babylonians, and Assyrians; spoken of in Judaism (\u201cThe people have a heavenly representative, a guardian angel.\u201d), Christianity (\u201cEvery soul was assigned a guardian angel the moment it was put into a body\u201d), Islam (\u201cEach person has two guardian angels, one on each side.\u201d), and more.
