From
the west (Chapel Hill / Durham / Pittsboro): Waters Edge Drive is a short street just off of Jones Franklin Road. Depending on where you are coming from it may euther make more sense to come via I40 or Hwy 64. There is definitely less traffic on 64 than I40 on weekday evenings. Either way, you will get onto 1-64 (Raleigh Beltline) and take exit 1C (Jones Franklin Road). If you came in from 64, you will turn left at the top of the ramp and cross over the beltline. If you came in from I-40, you will turn right at the top of the ramp. Waters Edge Drive will be on your right about 0.1 mile down Jones Franklin Road. The TCSL is on the left. From Cary: DEpending on where you come from, you may wish to drive down Chatham Street towards Raleigh. Continue on as it turns into Hillsborough Street and stay straight to continue on to Western Boulevard. Almost immediately, turn right onto Jones Franklin Road. Waters Edge Drive will be on your left in about 0.8 miles. |

Unitarian
Universalist Fellowship of Raleigh (UUFR) 3313 Wade Avenue, Raleigh, NC 27607 |
||||||
This
was our home base from the 1980's through June 2010 From the west (Chapel Hill / Durham): Get on I-40 toward Raleigh. From I-40 West of Raleigh, take exit 289 (Wade Avenue) and continue on the Wade Avenue extension past Blue Ridge Road and past the I-440/1/64 overpass. From the I-440 overpass, it's about a 3/4 mile to the entrance to the UUFR. You'll go past Ridgewood Shopping Center where the Whole Foods (formerly Wellspring) Grocery store is and turn right either into Dogwood Street or the first entrance past Dogwood Street. The front parking lot is just past Dogwood Street on your right. There is a larger parking lot in back that you get to by turning onto Dogwood Street. We will meet in the lower level of the main building which is most directly accessed from the rear parking lot. Meditation locations may vary and will be posted. |
