The intention of this evening presentation
is to explore ideas concerning our experience of change.
There can be no doubt that we are no longer waiting at the
doorstep of impending changes but are fully engaged in a
process of massive shifts in the way we view, experience
and respond to life. These changes are affecting ourselves,
our families, our communities and the entire world.
On an economic, political, social
and spiritual front, we are truly evolving beyond old boundaries
and definitions of reality and entering a new frontier.
The speed at which change is occurring leaves little time
for reflection, adjustment and integration. We are being
asked to experience such rapid transformation that from
one day to the other we find ourselves obliged to let go
of any identities, beliefs and value systems that no longer
serve us and move forward in deeper and deeper states of
trust and surrender.
In this presentation, I hope to
outline some visions, ideas and perceptions that will be
of assistance to people in reducing the fear of massive
global transformation while strengthening the joy of participating
in a process of planetary spiritual evolution. We will examine
Polarity Consciousness which results from the nature of
the electro-magnetic fields of the Earth and explore how
duality based awareness: positive and negative, good and
bad, happy and sad, create the thresholds of our experience
and current definitions of consciousness.
We will explore how shifts in
the Earth's electro-magnetic field are affecting our memory
and emotions and how social conditions on the Earth are
being defined by these forces. There is the possibility
that the Earth's electro-magnetic fields may actually collapse
at a certain point in the future, a concept called "zero
point". What are the implications of this and how can
we align our hearts and minds with the positive connotations
of such an experience.
I hope when you leave this presentation, that you will be
inspired with a vision of the possibilities that lie ahead
for the human race and will be willing to commit to your
emotions and heart centered wisdom in supporting the journey
from Polarity to Unity Consciousness.

Who is Art
Pouchet?
Art Pouchet is a
therapeutic counsellor and healer currently based out of Vancouver,
Canada. He is the director of the Vancouver Academy of Emotional
Health, an educational organization whose mandate is to provide
adults with an understanding of the practical and spiritual
processes involved in multi-dimensional shifts of consciousness.
Trained in numerous healing modalities, Art has personally
studied with Drunvalo, Jonathan Goldman, Tom Kenyon, Don Campbell
and David Hykes among other world respected teachers. He has
recently spent two years traveling and studying with healers
and teachers in Australia, New Zealand, Nepal, Tibet and Thailand.
For two successive years he was privileged to join with the
Tibetan pilgrims and participate in the Saga Dawa festival
and circumambulation of Mount Kailas.
In Vancouver he was an invited speaker at the University Of
British Columbia conference on The Role of Love and Compassion
in the Educational System. Art enjoys working with groups
and designing and presenting workshops that empower people
with new skills and visions to transform themselves emotionally
and spiritually in community. In one to one sessions, he has
the ability to listen deeply to the " whispers"
of the unconscious mind and higher "healing self"
while combining this sensitivity with a broad eclectic toolkit
of heart centered therapeutic approaches that assist in emotional
clearing and completion and integration of the multi-dimensional
aspects of the soul and psyche.
Art is pleased to be returning to Raleigh for a third time
and is looking forward to sharing with old friends and meeting
many more new ones.

Meditation Leader for May
Steve Long
Reiki Master and Healing Touch Practitioner
Steve Long will lead both the early meditation and the brief meditation
before the speaker at the May 2 meeting. Steve has been an Usui
Shiki Ryoho Reiki Master since 1996. He also completed the Monroe
Institute's Gateway and Advanced Excursion programs under the
direction of Monroe Institute Certified Instructor Lee Stone.
Steve is certified in the Art of Chakra Toning and also received
this training from Master Lee Stone. In addition, he has a BA
in psychology from NCSU.
Steve offers Reiki classes and sessions,
Healing Touch, Soul Path Integration, Past Life Regression, and
