Join us for
Dawn Overstreet’s program about our relationship with
ourselves and with our world. She will offer tools we can
use to see that the more we know and understand ourselves,
the more we can accomplish without being hindered by outside
influences. For example, an “energy elevator”
technique will demonstrate how the power of collective energy
can accomplish great things. The tools and techniques help
us make better decisions about where we fit in our lives
and how we want to invest our energy. Through consistent
routines, we can move beyond the limitations that often
are taught us in our early lives.
Where did I come from? Where
am I? Where am I going? These are questions most of us are
asking. Each of us is unique because of our experiences
of life. What we learn from our experiences brings the wisdom
that allows us to be examples to others in the community
and thus to the world. It is a natural process to claim
the right to be ourselves and to express the creativity
that we are.
We are soul or energy, with our energies intertwined, but
with our physical bodies we live in a physical world. Understanding
this brings us a comfortable feeling of being at home in
our physical bodies no matter where we are, what we are
doing, or what we seek to accomplish in the world—in
other words, we learn to respect that we have purpose and
to appreciate our reasons for visiting planet Earth.
Based in Roanoke, Virginia, Dawn Overstreet has shared her
message on talk shows and as the subject of newspaper features
throughout the United States and Canada for over 30 years.
As a lecturer, consultant, and workshop facilitator, she
shows how stressful situations can cloud our inner sensitivity,
leaving us feeling dissatisfied and lacking direction in
our lives and, with the tools and techniques of Inner Peace
Movement programs, offers the opportunity to clarify the

Dawn Overstreet Workshop
Exploring Inner Dynamics |

Put
the pizzazz back in your life, expand your wisdom, and learn
to see yourself as successful using these tools to help you
do what you are here to do. This workshop will give you hands-on
experience understanding yourself as energy, what this feels
like, how to know when you are not aware of this sensitivity,
and how you can be influenced by your environment. Techniques
such as “thought transference” can help you to
understand what is you and what is not. It will also help
you learn how your radar of sensitivity can get you involved
in things that you did not plan but were sensitive to and
acted upon.
Other things you may learn include how your choices affect
your life; how certain situations have helped you grow spiritually;
and how to build a “buffer zone” to keep you from
internalizing things outside yourself and give you the detachment
you need to be of service to yourself and others.
As souls, we have but one thing to accomplish: being loyal
to ourselves so that we can be of service to others. Through
practical application of the techniques outlined in this workshop,
you can master your own energy, understand your purpose, know
about the master souls who help you, and stay focused and

We generally record all of our lectures and you may purchase audio
tapes of most lectures from the late 1980's through September,
2006. For lectures beginning with September, 2006, lecture recordings
are now availble on CD.
Tape recordings
are $10 which includes postage.
Cassette tapes are available of most SFF lectures dating back
to 1988. They may be available for future events as well.
CDs are available in two formats.
Two disk audio CD
sets are $15
Because audio CDs are limited to a maximum of 78 minutes, if you
would like an audio CD of a lecture playable on any CD player.
One disk MP3 CD
is $10
If you would like a CD using the MP3 format (playable on your
computer and many new CD and DVD players but not on older

Come early and treat yourself
to the gift of a healing and centering meditation. The first
few minutes are focused on sending healing love and light
to Mother Earth and her inhabitants
Raleigh healer and teacher Vickie Penninger
will lead the meditation. In her healing work, Vickie uses
many modalities, following the guidance provided to her by
Spirit through her intuition, to individualize each healing
session; these include quantum clearing, medical intuition,
Reiki, shamanism, past life regression, and more. She teaches
classes in traditional Usui Reiki, energy empowerment, crystal
energy therapy, and past life regression, and considers it
an honor and a privilege to offer her services to others.

The early meditation is held in the
Ralph Waldo Emerson room of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship
of Raleigh.
This is in the same building (Peace
Hall) as the Clara Barton room, but the Emerson room is on the
lower level.
If coming from the front parking lot,
go down the steps between the two buildings. There's an entry
door on the right side of Peace Hall. Go in this door and down
the hall, and the Ralph Waldo Emerson room is on the left at
the end.
If coming from the back parking lot,
go up the steps between the main building, which houses the
sanctuary in front and Fellowship Hall in the rear, and Peace
Hall, the building to the left. Entry door will be on the left
a short distance up the stairs.
Please
arrive on time to optimize the energies of the group dynamic.
