The Alchemy of Dreams ~
Mining the Unconscious for Gold

Six or seven times every night, we drop into a vast
source of past, present, and future personal experiences
and universal knowledge—our dreams. Dreams bring us into direct contact with our unconscious selves and can help us unravel the mysteries of our own psyches. The alchemical and archetypal material of dreams is like gold, providing insight, hidden resources, and shadow content that we can use to enhance and deepen the meaning of our daily lives. Each night we can bring one or two of these treasures back with us into conscious awareness.

In her talk, Susan Reintjes will suggest ways to
understand the language of the unconscious in order to
interpret these night messages without losing the intent of their symbols. By analyzing several dreams, she will
demonstrate a way to comprehend the meanings of certain characters and symbols; explore in particular the common figures of the unknown man or unknown woman who appears in our dreams; and teach us a technique to increase dream frequency and recall.

In an experiential meditation, she will guide us from
consciousness to the edge of the unconscious and back again. This meditative practice enhances dream recall and intuition and increases our ability to visit this liminal border of our own psyches in sleeping or in waking states.

Susan Reintjes has a Master of Arts in teaching from UNC – Chapel Hill and an advanced parapsychology and mediumship degree from Delphi University in Georgia. As a psychic counselor and healer for over 20 years, she has facilitated profound transformations for clients in areas such as intimacy, health, relationships, and career through an intriguing and balanced model for psychic and spiritual development.

In 2003, Susan published Third Eye Open: Unmasking
Your True Awareness, a guidebook for developing psychic abilities and interpreting daily spiritual lessons. By learning to decode cryptic messages in encounters,
dreams, animals, machinery, and weather conditions, she explains, we can uncover vital spiritual data to
discover compassion, health, love, and wisdom. Renowned astrologer and author Steven Forrest has said, “Susan Reintjes’ work is eloquent, honest, grounded, and wise… It’s a book that will be helping people a hundred years from now.” For additional details about Susan and her work, and for contact information, go to www.ThirdEyeOpen.com.

There may be time to look at several dreams, so bring a dream with you to share, if you wish.

Lynette Marks
Time: 6:30 - 7:00 PM

Cost: Free

Come early and treat yourself to the gift of a healing and centering meditation. Durham healer and teacher Lynette Marks will lead a guided meditation focusing on the ascension of Mother Earth and the ways inwhich we can help.

Lynette has been a full-time professional healer since
1994, and Earth healing is a major interest of hers. She spent 2½ years in Arizona learning techniques for helping the Earth. Her current practice includes massage, energy work, clearing present and past life issues and attachments, working with crystals and sound healing, and using advanced tachyon technologies—including a chakra balancing system she developed using crystal bowls, aroma therapies, and tachyon chakra discs.

With a master’s degree in science education, Lynette was
a teacher and writer in a number of settings before she became a healer. Recently she visited Panama with other arcing radial light (AL) instructors—a spirit-guided adventure of wonderful proportions—and she plans to return this spring with several other practitioners to teach AL in Panama, Guatemala, and El Salvador.

Lynette and Mark Hirschhorn have produced a series of
meditation and healing CDs—Embracing Worthiness,
Embracing the Divine Feminine, Embracing Empowerment as well as several music CDs; see www.AscendingMusic.com.
