Using several different astrological charts for the United States, Darrell Steen will describe how astrology looks at the future and how the U.S. charts dovetail with individuals charts to form personal and social interpretations of the year ahead.
Heâll also consider the future of astrology resulting from the growth of our solar system over the past 20 yearsâto include the Kuiper belt (or trans-Neptunian) objects, centaurs, and scattered disk objects.
Darrell describes himself as having a practical and down-to-earth philosophy, and his readings as taking a psychological approach that helps clients see the basic motivating forces in their lives. He had his first horoscope reading when he was 16 years oldâreluctantly, at the prodding of a friendâand he was so impressed by the astrologerâs accuracy that he began studying right away. He is fascinated by the perspective that astrology offers, better than anything he found in psychology, religion, or philosophy. He has practiced professionally, full time, for over 35 years and serves an international clientele. Since 1982, he has been accredited through the American Federation of Astrologers. In Kansas and elsewhere, Darrell was a frequent guest on numerous radio shows, and then had his own weekly radio show for two years in Wichita. His 2012 talk on astrocartography for SFF was a big hit, and he has been a popular participant at our annual Psychic & Healing Fairs.
