In early April 2020, Larry Burk, a Durham-based physician and certified energy health practitioner (CEHP), dreamed that he was fighting zombies in an abandoned warehouse. Having recorded his dreams for 30 years, this was the first time he’d ever had such a dream, and he wondered why.

A few days later he discovered that, during the Covid-19 pandemic, people have been having unusual vivid dreams. In particular, his colleague from the International Society for the Study of Dreams, Harvard professor Deidre Barrett, had been researching these dreams and subsequently detailed them in her book “Pandemic Dreams.” She has found two main patterns of pandemic dreams: literal ones about getting sick and dying from the virus, and metaphorical ones, including fears of bugs, natural disasters, shadowy figures, monsters, mass shooters, and yes…zombies.

Obviously that information got the attention of Larry, himself an expert on dream interpretation and the co-facilitator of the Rhine Center Dream Group. Drawing from his own experiences and those of others, he will enlighten us about the guidance that has been received from precognitive dreams of tornadoes and 9/11, as well as dreams related to the pandemic. He will also inform us about historic and current Marian visions, or appearances of “Our Lady,” the Blessed Virgin Mary coming down from heaven to provide important messages, including warnings about future events.

“When Mary shows up,” he says, “she’s here to warn us of an upcoming catastrophe and to protect us. She always recommends praying the rosary.”

Although Larry is a Presbyterian, he and other non-Catholics have experienced recent revelations through dreams and visions that suggest they “pray the rosary” as a way of praying for their heart’s desire. He plans to share “miracles” related to praying the rosary as a path to manifesting abundance. For the interactive portion of his presentation, he asks that participants bring their apocalyptic dreams and rosaries, or get a set of beads from a local Catholic church.

“All dreams can provide valuable insights for the present and the future, especially during stressful times of transition like the pandemic, which has altered the entire world,” says Larry, emphasizing that the word “apocalyptic” refers to revelations, not Armageddon,

“Prophets of the Bible were guided by both dreams and visions, and these forms of guidance can be available to anyone,” he adds, recommending that everyone “keep a dream dairy to get access to valuable information from their subconscious mind or Higher Self.”

To his surprise, Larry received guidance to pray the rosary in July. Although it seemed strange at first, he thereafter began the practice “with interesting results” that he will reveal.

“The rosary is a time-honored way to pray with a lot of energy behind it,” he explains. “They say you are standing on the columns of saints when you pray the rosary. It was done for thousands of years before the Catholic Church even existed as a pagan tradition to worship the Goddess.”

In the Roman Catholic tradition, the term rosary refers to both the string of beads and the prayers said using that string of beads. To pray the rosary is to recite specific  prayers corresponding with particular beads on the string.

A rosary is a circle of 50 beads with a cross hanging off it, which represents the female symbol and resembles the astrological symbol for Venus. Although adopted by Catholics, it is actually a pagan symbol of the Goddess or divine feminine.

“Praying the rosary is a spiritual ritual, not a religious one as most people think,” says Larry. “If anything is going to save us during difficult times, it is the divine feminine. When you pray for what you desire, things start to happen.”

Larry completed his medical school and residency training at the University of Pittsburgh. He is trained in acupuncture and hypnosis and is certified in energy health, specializing in EFT and dream work. Upcoming Course on Chakras!

Larry will teach a Zoom workshop on “Transforming Symptoms of the Lower 4 Chakras” Saturday, May 22, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. EST. In this four-hour live interactive course, he will devote an hour to each of the lower four chakras, applying five mind-body-spirit self-healing techniques to transform corresponding emotional shadow issues including fear, anger, shame and grief.
